We have been swapping for a couple of months.
We have received some beautiful little
works of art.
What do you do with all these
masterpieces?
We are having a contest,
a contest we can all benefit from.
We would like for you to create
something to hold your ATCs
or to display your ATCs in.
Wendy recently created this
ATC holder from a cigar box.
She discovered that her ATCs fit beautifully
in the cigar box, so inspiration hit!
Now she has a perfect place for all the ATCs
she will collect.
I am showing you Wendy's creation,
so inspiration can strike you!
For the Contest,
create a box,
a holder,
a display frame,
what ever.
You may use any materials you like.
Send us a photo of your project,
before September 20th, 2010.
We will post all the photos,
then the fun will begin.
We will have voting for the
best project.
You can have your friends vote,
your followers,
anyone you can get to vote!
The project that is voted
on most will win!
Wendy and I are still
coming up with the prizes.
(We are thinking supplies you can
use for your ATCs and
other lovely things!)
As soon as we agree on the
prizes, we will post those.
We just wanted to post this now,
to get those creative juices flowing.
We will keep the responses and votes
hidden, until after all voting is complete and
a winner is chosen.
Or, would you like them posted so you can
see where you stand and how much bribing
you may need to do?
Leave us a comment
on how you feel about this.
The Winner
If the winner would like,
you can do a guest post
on how you created the winning entry,
Or send us photos on the work in progress
and we will do the post for you.
You may also choose to be mysterious
and keep your techniques a secret.
It is all up to you.
Now put your thinking caps on and get busy!
Love to all,
Debbie

Sounds like a challenge to me! I don't know why but it make me want to say:
ReplyDeleteLET THE GAMES BEGIN!
I hope I can come up with something...

SIMPLY DEBBIE is right it will be tough to top Wendy's box, but who says it has to be a box?
ReplyDeleteSIMPLY DEBBIE's "creative sand box" may give someone ideas.
We are devoting a special page to the contest. We are also making a button so others can vote easier.
Love to all,
Debbie
Well, count me in!

ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! That would make a wonderful addition to the other prizes. Is there anything in particular you girls would like to be in the prize list? (Within reason of course!)
Debbie
Hi Wendy and Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI have also been wondering lately what to do
with my ATC's. So I put my thinking cap on and have an idea....I have just started to work on it!!
The challenge sounds like a lot of fun. I think it would be nice to see some ATC's as we go along before the 20th. of September!!
Hugs and Thank you,
Susan
